CanyonGear tm, developed our "Game Over" custom line of gaffs. Gaff’s the pro’s turn to when it’s time to end the game during your deep sea fishing experience. We produce three distinctly different gaffs with specific price points to suit the target species and sportfishing styles of all blue water anglers.
Customizable options include, handle grips, handle length, hook gape, fixed and flying. All Game Over gaff’s are custom crafted using only the best components for the handles stainless hooks, custom features and rigging of the flying gaff. All of the handle customization is done with the same quality craftsmanship that goes into each "Game On" custom rod.
"GAME OVER" Custom Flying Gaff Line: Reaper
The "Reaper" Flying Gaff is available with hook gape sizes up to 12". The custom built handle is made from carbon fiber "weave" for added strength. The Flying Gaff handle incorporates a spring loaded twist lock and release receiver for the gaff hook. This allows for simple reloading on the "fly", if necessary. The hook is released by a simple smooth twisting motion of the handle counter-clockwise. The spring tensioner inside the handle forces the hook out of the handle when released.
Please note: the "Reaper" flying gaff has an order lead time of at least 4 weeks since each gaff hook is hand made to order by size and type with the options selected below.
