CanyonGear custom Daisy Chains are one of our custom specialties for deep sea fishing with sport fishing rod - rods or your boats rigging. Custom rig your chain or lure teaser with our Canyon Machines Fishing Lures or our latest teaser additions from Zman products; the Zman FlyerZ flying fish or Zman SquidZ. We can rig your daisy chain "armed" with a hook bait or stinger or as a just a teaser. Custom options include, type of teaser, size of the teasers, fishing line leader material and hook set if desired, for the "armed" chain.

Daisy chains are not a recent innovation. These setups - stringing fishing line together a series of "school of attractors" like live baits in a chain - are basically an East Coast trolling technique that has migrated worldwide eliciting strikes from Marlin, Tuna, Mahi (Dorado), Sailfish and Wahoo.

Daisy chains are a powerful salt water fish raising strategy due to the natural appearance they have when trolled at high, medium and slow speeds. Canyon Machine Daisy Chains are deadly as a hook bait or teaser.  You can select either the standard size or the small size (see Canyon Machine Lures).  The Daisy Chain can be set up with a snap swivel in the last bait which will allow for your "Stinger" of choice see Stinger options or your own choice of Stingers.  Rig it your way!  All Daisy Chains are rigged with approximately 12" between baits which is one Canyon Machine in length.   We have found spacing the "Teasers"

12" apart works the best!

THE CHAIN LENGTH WILL BE 
BUILT AS FOLLOWS: 

(5) 9" CANYON MACHINES spaced 12" Apart = 7 FEET 7 INCHES

ADD 2’ OF LEADER = 9 FEET 7 INCHES TOTAL CHAIN LENGTH.

THE CHAIN LENGTH WILL BE 
BUILT AS FOLLOWS: 

(5) 12" CANYON MACHINES spaced 12" Apart = 9 FEET 0 INCHES

ADD 2’ OF LEADER = 11 FEET 0 INCHES TOTAL CHAIN LENGTH.

Notes:

Hook Locks:

Hook Locks will be installed, if chosen, when the cable hook sets option is chosen . 
Only, for arming the last teaser on the mainline or the Stinger chosen. 
There is No hook lock option for SquidZ.

Stingers:

If you choose the Stinger option, please select the option to install a snap swivel in the last teaser,
this question is asked twice in the options menu to eliminate confusion.

Hooks:

If you choose just a hook option, a hook will be crimped to the mainline or stinger leader if the stinger option is chosen.

Either stinger option will be rigged with tri-beads as a spacer between the butt of the head and the hook crimp.  The tri-beads will match the head color of the Canyon Machine or the color of the squidz or any other type of teaser or lure selected for spreader bar or daisy chain stingers.
