CanyonGear in partnership with Angler’s Envy Custom Rods in Maryland, developed our custom "Game On" line of Stand-Up and IGFA trolling rods for the deep sea Blue water pro’s. These premium fishing rods are known as "WinStar" and are built with the highest caliber custom components available today.
Each fish rod begins with a custom Calstar E-Glass blank, then custom fitted with "WT" - Winthrop Tool’s Express Custom Guides, and finally finished off with the industry standard for quality, AFTCO Unibutts. Each custom rod is an individual work of art, combining craftsmanship, with only the best rod building components available today.
All rods are customizable by class for match sets or individually to your reel or reels needs. Custom equipment options include, abalone shell inlay in 17 colors choices, 6 WT Express roller guides and Tip Top color choices and 3 AFTCO or American Tacke unibutt colors,2 butt styles; straight and curved and 2 butt lengths; long and short. Choose your guide colors to match your AFTCO Uni-Butt colors and accent each rod with the radiance of high quality abalone inlay color of your choice.
Rod thread colors match the guide colors: Silver Black and on these rods a royal blue hightlight thread. If you have a particulare thread color combination for the diamond wrap and the guide wraps, PLEASE CALL BEFORE YOU ORDER.
You can also match set your colors to our custom Gaff Line "Game Over" gaffs. Whether your fishing with our custom trolling lure or lures, ballyhoo, or live baits.
